The Church I See

I recently clocked 5 years leading Royal Tribe Church. I wrote all about that experience HERE. As I reflected on the past, I also had a renewed vision for the future. This is the church I see:
I see a faith filled church. A church that boldly professes its belief in Jesus Christ and makes it clear via its members’ daily conduct.
I see a family church. A church where people genuinely love each other despite the disagreements they may occasionally have. A unified church that looks, feels and is family to everyone who walks in. A church that will reject religion and emphasise relationships.
I see a creative church. A church whose creativity is impacting the world. A church influencing the world through creative worship and creative media.
I see a culturally relevant church. A church that is not ignorant to her environment and culture. A Church that refuses to be content with the triumphs of the past, but is constantly looking towards the future – filled with a vision that inspires and influences many.
I see a Spirit-led church. A church where the Holy Spirit is given freedom of expression.
I see an innovative church. A church that will never settle for mediocrity. A church that will always break boundaries. A church that will be holy-rebels for God. A church willing to go against the norm to fulfil God’s purpose. A church that will always keep dreaming.
I see a church committed to raising leaders in different works of life. A church that is influential within the biggest and smallest organisations with campuses both in universities and corporations.
I see a church committed to helping others. The poor, the sick and the needy. A church sponsoring people all over the world as they fulfil their God given potential.
I see a church that loves God, loves people and loves life. A church that is fun and vibrant! A church that never loses her sense of humour. A church that is youthful in spirit; generous at heart; faith-filled in confession; loving in nature and inclusive in expression.
I see a Church whose head is Jesus, whose help is the Holy Spirit, and whose focus is the Great Commission. A church so Kingdom-minded that they will count whatever the cost and pay whatever the price to see revival sweep this land.
The zeal of the Lord will perform this and more.
Amen!
